EASTER WORKING HOURS
Please be advised that there will be no work at Sloane Gardens during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. This includes Good Friday and Easter Monday.
1 Sloane Gardens
During April we will continue our work in erecting the steel frame that will support the building’s facade during construction. This work has already started on Holbein Place and will begin on Sloane Gardens in early April.
To ensure the health and safety of our construction workers and the public, we will be fitting concrete plates whilst the steel works is undertaken.
Please be advised that in order to facilitate this work, a temporary closure of the footpath around 1 Sloane Gardens is required.
We anticipate the steel works to be completed in late June.During this time, deliveries will continue as normal between the hours of 9:30am – 3:00pm during weekdays with exception of the Easter half term for schools (3-17 April) where deliveries are permitted between 9.30am-4.30pm.
We will also be continuing work in underpinning the basement of 1 Sloane Gardens which will involve a removal of the spoil via a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt will be moved from its current location to the right of Salon Sloane, to the left of Ladbrokes. The pavement currently closed to pedestrians is expected to reopen in May.

With all major demolition and structural strengthening completed, the works continue to focus on the internal fit and finishing, together with the restoration of the external fabric. There will continue to be deliveries to and from the site, and we plan to continue the temporary suspension of the parking bays in front of the site to keep the disruption to a minimum.
39/41 Sloane Gardens
With the initial works having started in late 2016, the scaffolding is now fully erected including the installation of a protective sheeting to the front and rear of 39/41 Sloane Gardens. The framework for the decorative wrap which will cover the scaffold is in place and the wrap itself will be installed during the first week of April.
The removal of the roof including its supporting joists is nearing completion and the basement works is ongoing with new drainage, underpinning,
footings, new pump chambers and a new slab in progress.
Work will also start on the upper floors during April. This will mainly involve internal works which should not cause excessive
noise. The team has also been granted permission from RBKC for the suspension of two parking bays immediately outside 39/41 Sloane Gardens to provide proper parking and enable construction vehicles to more easily load and unload with minimal disruption to other road users. These suspensions will remain in place for the duration of the works.
