1. How many projects are being delivered by Cadogan on Sloane Gardens?1. The only projects currently being undertaken by Cadogan are at number 1 and the lower ground floor of number 3.
2. When will these projects be completed?
It is anticipated that construction works for 1 Sloane Gardens will be completed in Spring 2022.
3. Was I consulted about the proposals before RBKC granted planning consent?
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) carried out a statutory consultation on all of the identified development sites prior to the submission of the planning applications. As the largest scheme on Sloane Gardens we also extensively consulted with local residents and stakeholders in advance of submitting a revised planning application for proposals at 1 Sloane Gardens. We hosted a well-publicised public exhibition in May 2016 in the site of the former sandwich shop on Holbein Place which was staffed by senior members of the project team and attended by over 50 local people over a two day period. As part of our planning submission we also prepared a Statement of Community Involvement which sets out our consultation activities in greater detail which can be downloaded here.
4. How will you seek to mitigate the impacts of construction?
Throughout the construction period we are committed to do all we can to minimise noise and disruption for local residents. We have set out a number of commitments which can be viewedhere.Cadogan will also ensure the development abides by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Code of Construction Practice and the Considerate Constructors Scheme whereby all contractors have committed to giving the utmost consideration to their impact on neighbours and the public. The contractor is also obliged to join the Considerate Contractor’s Scheme and be independently and regularly assessed by their inspectors.
5. When are noisy works allowed to be carried out?
Construction work will take place between 8:00am– 6:00pm on weekdays, with noisy high impact work limited to four hours a day. No construction work is permitted during weekends or public holidays.

Construction vehicles will have set times in which they can access the site and, away from the immediate vicinity, will take routes along main roads wherever possible. Save for limited circumstances, no construction traffic will travel to the site during weekends and public holidays.
7. What can I do if I believe that the construction works are unduly disruptive or I think there is an issue with one of the sites?
Cadogan have appointed a dedicated team to quickly respond to questions or concerns you may have at any time during the construction period. The team are in direct contact with each of the teams on site and will be contactable during office hours to deal with the majority of issues that may arise. However if there is an urgent issue that needs to be address out-of-hours, over weekends or during public holidays there are also emergency contact details provided on theContact Us page.
8. How will you communicate the construction plans regularly to local residents?
A newsletter is delivered to all properties on Sloane Gardens every month, however you can also sign up to receive more regular email updates regarding forthcoming construction works on the Contact Us page of this website.
